If you’re looking to improve your mobility but don’t know where to start, then come to Awareness Through Movement® at the Etowah Library! Instructor Alex Toenniges will guide you through proven exercises designed to increase your mobility. This class is similar to Pilates, but utilizes the Feldenkrais Method to guide you through gentle, mindful movements. Participants lie on their backs, but they may also stand, walk, or sit in a chair depending on what’s most comfortable. Open to all skill levels.
Please bring a towel or blanket to lie on and wear loose, comfortable clothing. A waiver is required.
