If you enjoy free movie screenings, then come to the Swannanoa Library today for a screening of The Fellowship of the Ring, the first installment in the Lord of the Rings series. Danger lurks for our protagonist, Frodo Baggins, when he finds himself bequeathed a magic ring from his uncle Bilbo. Frodo, along with several friends from The Shire, sets off on an adventure throughout Middle-earth to discover the ring’s true nature. Stakes get raised, friendships and alliances get tried, and betrayal waits in the wings. Who will make it out of this story unscathed?

Rated PG-13 for epic battle sequences and some frightening imagery. Light refreshments provided for free. The runtime for this movie is 178 minutes, or about 3 hours.
