Today’s feature presents Jaws, the iconic summer blockbuster that shook audiences with its stunning effects and horrifying mechanical shark. Amity Island: an idyllic beach located in New England, where nothing can go wrong. But when the remains of a missing woman wash up on the beach, the town panics. Local law enforcement chalks it up to a horrifying boating accident and reopens the beach, but the terror that lurks beneath the waves has only just begun.

Movie trivia: Jaws was the first major motion picture to be shot on the ocean! This caused the production to go over time and budget, mainly because the mechanical shark kept malfunctioning in the water.
